Our "Why"! Why Mushrooms are critical to your overall health

This is My Story.

A while back, I received a diagnosis that changed everything. I was a father with 4 young children and the bread winner of our family. It was the worst news - cancer, misdiagnosed for about 5 years prior. This cancer was a form of lymphoma. Not knowing what our future held, my wife and I immediately took our 4 kids, age 4 and under, to Disney World and approached our trip as what could be the last of our family memories before we had major life changes due to a cancer diagnosis.

However, I did not want that to be the last. If anyone knows me, I am wired to be curious and will research and connect theories and ideas to come up with my way of approaching life. I was not going to give up on my health, my family, or our future. The result of this experience and the learning that followed resulted in my fanatical determination to find a better option for my personal treatment of this DIS-ease.

Now, healed and healthy, I am on a mission to bring what I have learned to as many as I can. I have discovered the beauty of combining - or as I refer to - “stacking” - whole foods, including functional mushrooms, various herbal roots and blending them with essential minerals - to assist with the BALANCE within. Combine that with a BALANCED healthy mindset, and this is how Rhizomatic was born

Why Rhizomatic Gardens?

Fungi are classified as a separate taxonomic kingdom, which means they have unique characteristics that set them apart from all other organisms. Mushrooms are the world’s greatest decomposers, they break down and redistribute resources, minerals, and energy so life can happen all over again. Physiologically, mushrooms provide the greatest support to the elimination system of human physiology (Lymphatic System: Zone 3)

Additionally, mushrooms are considered Rhizomes, and Rhizomatic organisms are nonlinear in nature, closer to pleomorphic by design, meaning they are adaptable and nimble in nature. The most noticeable distinction between mushrooms and other organisms is that they reproduce solely through spores; plenty of the mushrooms seen in the wild are known as “mycorrhizal”, which is latin for “fungus root”. Hence, "Rhizomatic Gardens'' refers to the "Rising" (Rhizomatic) of our authentic selves as we embrace nature, and the “Letting Go” of our internal energetic blocks, allowing them to melt away and create new energies for the body.

I encourage you to start your personal journey back to health freedom as you move away from DIS-ease.

All my best to you and our family
